URICA is an innovative lateral-flow test that detects a urinary biomarker of intravascular haemolysis discovered through research at the University of Oxford. Developed with Oxford and engineered and manufactured by Camtech, URICA delivers a visible result from a small urine sample in under 10 minutes, without blood draws or laboratory equipment.
Application areas:
- Malaria & infection monitoring: Early detection of haemolytic activity, particularly in low-resource settings.
- Drug tolerance & patient safety: Monitor haemolytic responses to therapeutic agents and support safer treatment decisions.
- Haemolytic anaemia: Support real-time differentiation and monitoring at the point of care.
- Sickle cell disease: Provide an early signal of rising intravascular haemolysis to support crisis management.
- Sports & military medicine: Monitor exertional haemolysis during intensive training to inform training load and recovery.
Dengue Combo Test
Global cases of dengue fever have doubled in 2024 and many cases in Low- and Middle-Income Countries remain undiagnosed until the worst symptoms emerge. Leaving dengue fever untreated can lead to serious bleeding and sharp drops in blood pressure. Our kits provide a fast, accurate way for customers to test for dengue fever and provide effective care :
- Robust antigen testing: The kit detects dengue virus-specific IgM and IgG antibodies at the same time, reducing reagent use.
- Compatible with diverse samples: Users can collect human serum, plasma, and whole blood samples with easy-to-follow instructions to perform the Dengue Combo Test.
- Fast to obtain results: The Dengue Combo Test Kit detects dengue virus antigens in just 15 minutes, much faster than PCR-based tests.
COVID-19/Flu A&B (3-in-1) Combo test
COVID-19 is now an endemic disease. Diagnosing a SARS-CoV-2 infection is challenging as its symptoms overlap with those of the common flu, complicating efforts to distinguish the two diseases. We have developed the SARS-CoV-2/Influenza A+B Antigen Combo Rapid Test to help symptomatic patients determine which disease they have, offering:
- Rapid diagnosis: Individuals can detect SARS-CoV-2 or Influenza A/B viruses by themselves within 15 minutes.
- Easy operation: People who have symptoms within 4 or 7 days of flu and COVID-19 onset, respectively, can determine their diagnosis with a nasal swab.
- High sensitivity: Our lateral flow immunoassay detects antigens for COVID-19 and Influenza A/B above 1.0 x 102 and 2.26 x 102 respectively, and above 92.76% overall sensitivity.
COVID-19/RSV/ADV/Flu A&B (5-in-1) Combo test
The COVID-19/RSV/ADV/Flu A&B Antigen Combo Rapid Test Kit helps symptomatic individuals identify common respiratory viral infections, including SARS-CoV-2, RSV, Adenovirus and Influenza A/B, with a convenient nasal swab test, offering:
- Comprehensive detection: Detects antigens from five respiratory viruses — SARS-CoV-2, RSV, Adenovirus, Influenza A and Influenza B — in a single test.
- Rapid and easy testing: A simple nasal swab can be performed at home or in other non-laboratory environments, with results available in just 15 minutes.
- High clinical performance: The test demonstrated clinical sensitivities of 96.36% for COVID-19, 96.43% for Influenza A, 96.30% for Influenza B, 96.35% for RSV and 96.60% for Adenovirus in professional-use evaluations.
