Electrode sensors update
Electrochemical sensor platforms now available at Camtech!
We are now offering various types of electrochemically active surfaces like gold or carbon to allow the detection of a plethora of analytes.
The electrode design is a classical concentric 3-electrode cell design with a wide enough working electrode to allow custom surface functionalization.

We currently offer two types of sensors:
Gold Sensors: AuTE100AGCL
Vapor-deposited Au layers with superior electron transfer kinetics and high stability unlike most screen-printed inks. Generally, screen-printed sensors lack reactivity when functionalizing the surface for biosensing.
- Precision: Ag/AgCl reference electrode.
- Working electrode: D=3 mm for an area A=7.1 mm2.
- Semi-flexible support: polycarbonate (PC). Thickness: 0.5 mm. Dimensions: 50x13 mm.
- Hydrophobic insulating film: allows using volumes as low as 5 µL.
Carbon Sensors: GTE100
Unique vapor-deposited glassy caron sensors with unprecedented resistance to organic solvents that even “solvent-resistant” screen-printed inks cannot reach.
- Reference: Ag/AgCl reference electrode.
- Working electrode: D=3 mm for an area A=7.1 mm2.
- Rigid support: Al203-based ceramic. Thickness: 0.5 mm. Dimensions: 30x12 mm.
- Solvent Resistance: acetonitrile, acetone, ethanol, chloroform, dimethyl carbonate (DMC), ethyl methyl carbonate (EMC), and others.
