Camtech began as a spin‑out from the University of Cambridge, founded on the ambition to translate advanced detection science into practical tools — starting with our first concept: a rapid anthrax detection system. Since 2013, we have expanded this mission globally, bringing innovative testing platforms to real‑world applications and making accurate health testing available anytime, anywhere.

Over the past decade, Camtech has delivered several industry firsts. We were the first company in Singapore to develop an antigen‑based COVID‑19 test during the pandemic, enabling fast, accessible screening at scale. We also pioneered the first easy‑to‑use 3‑MCPD food safety test kit, transforming how manufacturers and regulators monitor contaminants.

Our detection platforms provide the foundation for reliability, customisation and scalability across rapid testing solutions. Building on these platforms, we have launched products spanning food safety and clinical diagnostics, reshaping traditional workflows with fast, non‑invasive testing.

With established R&D centres in Cambridge (UK) and Singapore, and ISO‑certified manufacturing facilities in Germany and Singapore, we have built deep capabilities in assay development, engineering, and production.
